The ISH started in September 2017 in a beautiful historical school building at Schreveliusstraat, near the city center of Haarlem.

In 2018, we started at our second location at Oorkondelaan with our Upper Primary and Secondary department.

In October 2021, our Secondary department relocated to Haarlem North. Our Lower Primary (Groups 1-3) moved to Buitenrustlaan in January 2022, whilst our Upper Primary moved from Oorkondelaan to the Schreveliusstraat location.

You are welcome to make an appointment to visit after registering your child(ren) in our school. It's always good to see the building and experience the engaging atmosphere yourself. Please send an email to admissions@internationalschoolhaarlem.nl.

 Our departments are currently located at three nice locations:

- Primary Groups 1, 2 and 3 at Buitenrustlaan 9, 2012 BL Haarlem (Haarlem West)

- Primary Groups 4, 5, 6 and 7 at Schreveliusstraat 27, 2014 XP Haarlem (Haarlem East)

- Secondary Department (MYP and DP students) at Junoplantsoen 58, 2024 RS Haarlem (Haarlem North)

Parking 

​

Buitenrustlaan: We have a small car park on-site for deliveries, the bus service between Lower and upper Primary, Op Stoom (our in-house child care provider) and staff. It is not possible to use the car park for our families to drop off or pick up their children - this is also for safety reasons. For families commuting by car, we ask you to park at Twijnderslaan or the surrounding areas. – and walk with your child the rest of the way.​ 

 

Schreveliusstraat: Please note there is no free parking outside our school and as we are located on a residential street, we ask our families who commute by car to park around the corner at the Emmaplein. Parking after 9am is not free. Mobile parking apps such as Parkmobile can be used to pay for parking.

 

Junoplantsoen: There is no onsite car park. However, there is free parking in the area
